Tarot Today 2/8/23 Just Go With It

Image
Just Go With It Today's tarot card comes from my CBD De Maseille deck. They were originally created in 1760, then restored & adapted in 2010. The card I drew is the 5 of Cups. Cups is about our emotions, love, and things to do with our spirituality. The 5 represents stability and change. It seems that over the past week, the daily readings have been about pushing forward and staying strong even when things to not seem to be going as we set out for them to. The 5 of Cups reveals that our emotions my be the reason we are not making the progress we are working so hard for. Cups represent water and water is about healing. When we heal from something, we change. Change creates new possibilities and opportunities. We had to experience what we went through so that we could change. It is called growth & evolving. It is through the growth and evolving that opens us up to new opportunities. But this card indicates some of us are being stubborn and resisting the healing the Universe...

Tarot Today 2/4/2023: Keep Pushing Foward

Image
Keep Pushing Forward Today's tarot card is the 7 of Laurel, aka Pentacles. I just love this beautiful art work on this card from the Heavenly Bloom deck by Noa Ikeda. Laurels/Pentacles is about money and the 7 can be about us reflecting on what we are doing, perhaps doing some inventory or evaluating where we are at. In this case, evaluating on what progress we are making in regards to work/finances. Sometimes we can get at a cross road where it feels like we are putting so much in one direction with very little pay off or no pay off at all. Yes, we are manifesting certain things and we keep working and working towards our manifestations and often an obstacle will be thrown in our direction and we wonder what we are doing wrong or what is it we need to fix, or perhaps we should just throw in the towel and give up. But this card implies to keep pushing forward. Notice in the photo the creator has two trees with fruit growing out of her head and very young sprouted plant in front o...

Tarot Today 1/31/2023 : No Right or Wrong

Image
Today's tarot card is the 2 of Swords. The 2 is about balance and making decisions to find the right balance. When the swords comes up, it indicates that there is some sort of conflict that requires a decision that will bring balance to the situation. I always view making choices as a way of personal growth. Yes, there are two paths that we can choose from. One will be one to bring us more peace and balance, the other may bring us back to the situation we are trying to get out of. I do not believe that there is a right or wrong decision. Life is a journey we learn lessons from and gain wisdom. If we choose the path that brings us back to the same situation, it simply means that we have not learned what we needed to in order to grow and evolve into the next chapter of our journey. If we make the decision that leads to peace, then we learned what we needed to learn and are ready to travel onward in our life journey. Are you ready to move forward? Do you need help in understanding t...

Tarot Today 1/30/23: Take Time Out To Heal

Image
Today's tarot comes with 2 cards. The Lovers in reverse and the 4 of Cups. I drew the Lovers in reverse last week and here we have it again. The 4 of Cups represents love and emotions. I always believe that in general readings, such as my daily tarot readings, there is always some folks out there that the reading is specifically meant for. I am just the messenger here. So this if course is not for everyone. But there are some of you that are going through something very heavy in regards to a romantic relationship. Very much a disconnection with the other person here. In the 4 of Cups you are trying to rest and heal from the situation, but you may be having a hard time just being still and not think about the circumstances so much. But the 4 of Cups is revealing that there is healing in this situation, but you must stop and rest your mind, body and spirit. There is healing and solutions, but you must stop and open your ears and eyes so that you can see and hear the messages and sign...

Tarot Today 1/28/2023 : Ready To Move On

Image
Today's tarot card comes from the beautiful deck, Chakra Tarot Wisdom. At every tarot reading session with a client, I have them pull a card from this deck. In doing so, it allows me to see what chakra is most needed to be addressed in the reading. This card indicates the heart chakra, notice the green around it. Although I am displaying the photo with the card upright, when I drew it, it was in reverse. So I will read it as a reverse card. The cups is always about emotions, love and spiritual matters. Notice that the beautiful woman is naked with what looks like some type of cloth over her front. With the card upright, she is restless, bored and vulnerable. She is waiting for her heart and spirit to be filled with love and all of her desires. When we get in this kind of mode, we romanticize how we would like things to be in our lives. Sometimes we lose motivation and become restless, hoping things will play out like we fantasize. With this being related to the heart, perhap...

Dream Interpretation: When We Dream Of Lobster

Image
I was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, a place where seafood is abundant and I love just about all of it. Although, lobster is not an abundance here in my hometown, I can still get it almost for what this country pays for commodities such as: gas, toilet paper and eggs. But when we see lobster on any level in our dreams, it has the same meaning as in real life, if you are eating lobster, you either have deep pockets, or, you are having a special celebration that allows you to splurge a little.  In any case, it represents wealth. Around 1996 I worked for a well off woman, cooking for her family. She had three grown children and herself where I went everyday to each home and prepared a meal. This woman paid for the services I provided for her and her family out of her own pocket. Of course, the children had to pay for the food, but she paid for my service. She told me that she could leave her children all the money she was spending for my services, but she loved to watc...
